I created this card for two reasons, I want to enter the challenge at 'Beccy's Place' and I need Christmas cards, how is that for incentive :O).The snowman is a darling image from Beccy's called 'Snowman with Ornament"; using Paint Net I brought the image in as a JPEG and brought him again as a PNG, turned him around so he was facing the first one and I had my twins! Printed the image out and coloured them slightly differently with Prismacolor Markers and added some sparkle. I created a white on white background with red border, added some snowflakes and I was done . Aren't they adorable.
Challenges:
4. Jingle Bells" Christmas Tic Tac Toe Snowman, glitter, dry embossing
Clever way you made the twins Glenda. Love the image and what a super design! Susan x

I am always so impressed with your computer skills. Not sure i even know how to bring the images in...let alone in jeg or ping.
ReplyDeleteI am wanting to get into digital work but need to buy (yet again) a new printer. The one I bought to try digital ln the old computer does not work with windows 8. I can download drivers off the net but google shows there are problems with this driver and W8.
So it is back to shop for a new printer for me. It is hard to find one that has the backloading paper try (so the paper bends the least) and that takes various thickness of cardstock.
What type do yo use Glenda? Your work is always so crisp and clear!
