Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #222 Lots of Layers

Welcome to another challenge at Crafty Cardmakers and Judy is hosting today's challenge.

The theme of this weeks challenge is 'Lots of Layers'.  As usual, anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece,  some home decor as long as it meets the lots of layers theme.

Card Details:

Paper Colour: whisper white, bravo burgundy
Colour Medium:  Prismacolor markers and Copics for the flesh, hair,
Die Cuts: Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares, flower die-Spellbinders, Stampin |Up 'Pretty Pines Thinlets-the bows
Butterflies: Martha Stewart punch
Other: sparkles, rhinestones, liquid pearls



 I am typing this on the 100th anniversary of the end of  World War 1. Such a sad time with such a massive loss of human life. God bless those who died to keep us free.

Boy Fishing

Love this stamp from Lily of the Valley, the boy  looks so peaceful doing his thing  and the weather seems to be holding :O)! Adore his hat, my grandfather wore one very similar. 

The stamped image was  coloured with Prismacolor markers, and Copics. Stampin' Up ink was used for the clouds. The card stock is  Stampin' Up and the designer paper was found in my stash. Die cuts of the dragonflies was from a Magnolia DooHicky's die and the embossing folder was called Basket Weave. The burlap was also from my stash.
