Another great image from Outlaws CFC by Anne Fenton. Sandi and and Anne Fenton have  joined forces and  started a challenge over at 'Outlawz' called  Creative Freebie Challenge. The images to be used are from digital  images they have drawn and  believe me, these are some  totally fabulous images!  You are given  two images and if you use at least one of them you then receive two more digi's for the next challenge. Another great image from Outlaws CFC by Anne Fenton. Sandi Huggett and and Anne Fenton have  joined forces and  started a challenge over at 'Outlawz' called  Creative Freebie Challenge. The images to be used are from digital  images they have drawn and  believe me, these are some  totally fabulous images! Entering the challenge enables you to receive the next set of images. Every two weeks they will send you two new images. For  this their third challenge  I chose the above image and coloured it with Prismacolor markers, added flocking, glitter glue and stickles.. What a great winter scene! I framed the image with a Spellbinders  die (Labels 5) and for the flourishes I used a Sizzyx die called 'Scribbles Swirls'. I am again using the  image of Sammy Snowman . I  think he is one of the cutest out there in digi land, he is totally adorable and can be found at 'Fairy Dust Crafts'! The challenge this fortnight is 'Nontraditional Christmas - no red or green'.  Think of the possibilities here, let the creative juices go and come up with a project using any colours you want as long as they are not red or green :0)    I  made Sammy and the sentiment dimensional. I used Spellbinders  Nestabilities 'Inverted Circles'  and their 'classic Scalloped Circle' for the sentiment. I then added a few embellishments and it was done. Quick, easy and fun!

Christmas Birdie

Doodle Pantry is the sponsor of the weekly challenge over at 'The Stamptacular Sunday Challengeand the theme is 'Christmas Glitz'.  Great theme, just use lots of glitter, bling and sparkle. I used two of Doodle Pantry's  digital stamp sets ('Christmas Birdie'  and "Christmas Accessories') for my card.  I merged  the Christmas boxes from the accessories set with the Birdie image to get the picture of a birdie behind presents. I  merged  another smaller box from the same set and placed it in the birdie's wings., then to make it look like he was actually holding it, I printed out a second copy of the birdie, coloured his wing, cut it out,,cut a slit behind the box being held and then slid the wing into the slot. He  now looks like he is actually got a grip on it - lol.   For the glitz I added  Stickles  to the hat trim, the ribbon on  the boxes , the holly berries and the centers of the snow flakes (which look a lot like flowers :).  Flourishes were added as an additional bit of bling.  Go take a look at the challenge and  create a project with a Christmas Glitz focus and win a Doodle Pantry coupon.
