Doodle Pantry is the sponsor of the weekly challenge over at 'The Stamptacular Sunday Challenge' and the theme is 'Christmas Glitz'. Great theme, just use lots of glitter, bling and sparkle. I used two of Doodle Pantry's digital stamp sets ('Christmas Birdie' and "Christmas Accessories') for my card. I merged the Christmas boxes from the accessories set with the Birdie image to get the picture of a birdie behind presents. I merged another smaller box from the same set and placed it in the birdie's wings., then to make it look like he was actually holding it, I printed out a second copy of the birdie, coloured his wing, cut it out,,cut a slit behind the box being held and then slid the wing into the slot. He now looks like he is actually got a grip on it - lol. For the glitz I added Stickles to the hat trim, the ribbon on the boxes , the holly berries and the centers of the snow flakes (which look a lot like flowers :). Flourishes were added as an additional bit of bling. Go take a look at the challenge and create a project with a Christmas Glitz focus and win a Doodle Pantry coupon.
