I was picked one of the top three at a recent 'Raise the Bar' challenge for my 'Sounds of Spring' card and won a guest slot for one of their upcoming challenges, which happens to be the one that starts today!!. The theme is Mother's Day (2nd Sunday in May) in honour of all the Mother's out there. As my dear Mom has been gone for some time now (oh how I still miss her) I try to make my Mother's Day cards to represent mothers past and present, young and old, depending upon my mood. This card represent a young ,stylish one. I urge you to go take a visit and join the fun and maybe even win a guest slot...
I used an image from Little Miss Muffet called 'Emily Rose Hatter' and she is a darling. I coloured her with Prismacolor Markers, framed her with two Spellbinders Nestabilities oval die cuts and created a sentiment from Doodle Pantry's Fancy Shoe' digital stamp set. The embellishments are rose flowers from Recollections and the flourish is a Marianne Designs die cut. I used paper from DCWV 'The Four Seasons Stack'. and added a few pearls.

1. Crafty ribbons: #19 Flowers
