FTH March -2017 Stamp of the Month Challenge

FTH Digital Stamp of the Month Challenge March,  2017, using the image   'Lucky Lil Birdie'. So darn cute, I wasn't sure what occasion I wanted to celebrate with this image so  I just picked Good Luck and inside I will  have a message wishing someone  good luck on whatever endeavour they are about to  set forth on. At least that is the plan!.
I used the sketch from  March's Challenge at the 'The Sketch File' for my layout  and coloured the image with PrismaColor markers,  The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up's  set  'So happy For You'.

Pig Valentine - FTH

From the Heart Progressive  Challenge is up and running and this is the free image if you had participated in their last challenge (June 2016).  So great to have Faith back and creating more of her wonderful images.

I die cut three tags  two brown and one white. I used the two brown tags as the border for the white sentiment. The nose and bow tie  were made dimensional  by printing the image twice, colouring the nose and bow tie on the spare image , cutting them out and using pop ups placed them over the first image.

A another fast, fun and simple card. The image is From the Heart Blog challenge and is the free image of the month if you participated in the previous months challenge. I also used the sketch from their Sketch Challenge #155 for my design but alas I am too late to enter it in their challenge :O(

FTH Blog PigWit in a Planter

From the Heart Blog Monthly Image  Challenge came this freebie 'Hamlet Pig Wig in a Planter' He is just so adorable . He was a freebie if you had participated in the last challenge. I printed and coloured the image twice (well coloured parts of the second image) to pop up the head,the flower on his head, the large flower, leaf  and bottom flower  using sticky dots.

I so liked the sketch from the From the Heart challenge #150 that I decided to use it for my design. For the twist I choose to use buttons.

Thinking of You

This is such a pretty digital stamp and  was the  free stamp for participating in their last challenge of the month .   So much fun. See here for April's Challenge. I decided to make a sympathy card as  I seem to need them more and more.

Digging Dog

Isn't this the cutest little dog? This adorable image is available at 'from the Heart' Stamps blog and is the free digi of the month at their challenge blog. I  used a sketch  from Tuesday Morning Sketches for the card layout. The image was coloured with Copics and Spellbinders die cuts were used to frame it. The card base is Kraft CS  and all other papers are Stampin' Ups.   I used an embossing folder called bones and paws to add interest to the green rectangle  and finished it off with a button, twine and brown half pearls. The card will go to my great grandson as a Bday card.
