So Many Smiles

I have fallen for a new colour! My stamping buddy  lent me her Stampin' Up's  Coastal Cabana ink Pad and a sheet of the card stock to play with. Play I did and the above card is what I came up with. I love this colour and will be placing my order for it on the next go around. I paired it with a piece of Bo-Bunny's Back to Basic designer paper , a matching ribbon and flower ( from my stash), added a Whimsy flourish. a sentiment and I was done. Hopefully it is not too bare. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's 'Petite Pairs' stamp set.

Snowman Wagon Wheels

What a happy little scene with a  snowman, birds and snowflakes!
Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge this week of Feb. 23rd over at 'Cupcake Inspirations' and the  inspiration this week is:

I took the colour of the three blue birds as my inspiration and  using one of the outline  images from the Doodle Pantry digital stamp set 'Wagon Wheels 1'  created my card. The image only has two birds, so I
printed the image  twice and coloured one of the birds from the spare, cut it out and placed it on the left hand twig of the snowman. I now had the three birdies I wanted. The snowman's hat, two of the birds and the two side wheels were all made dimensional using double sided foam tape.

Valentine Love You

I  love this fold and when I recently saw a card   made with  it ,my interest was stirred. See here for my inspiration; it is by Crafty-Stamper  and it's a beauty!  The stamp on my card is from 'Lacy Sunshine' and is called 'Rory-Love-Letters' .

I used Stampin'Up cardstock (Marina Mist, Whisper White, Chocoalte Chip) and a pink cardstock from Michaels. The designer paper is from DCWV 'the Four Seasons stack'. The image was coloured with Prismaclor Markers and Copics . The Copics was for the flesh tones (E13,E00,E000,E02). The blue and pink heart  is a 'Hearts with Wings' sticker by Jolee's By You.  The brown heart is from Cuttlebug's  'Hearts and Stamps' die. I also used Spellbinders 'deckled  rectangles ' die for the sentiment frame. The sentiment is an  'I Love You' rubber stamp  by Craft Smart, I just didn't stamp the ' I'  and  I rearranged the 'love you' placement. I will be entering this card into the following Challenges. The first being the Lacy Sunshine Challenge #26    Add a Sentiment.

Love is Sweet Valentine

Time to be posting some more of my Valentines for 2014, this  one is for a  great granddaughter! I used a Meljens Design    'Love is Sweet' image, isn't it a darling! I coloured the image using a mixture of Prismacolor Markers and Copics. The flowers  are from  Cherry Lynn Designs 'Sweet Williams' die strip and the leaves   from Spellbinders  die 'Foliage'. The flower centers and the small white hearts are brads bought at Michaels. I used the Spellbinders 'Inverted Circles' die for the circle frame and the hanging heart is from Memory Box, The card stock is Stampin' Up's and I used  a  cover it all background stamp by Impressive Obsessions  called 'Stitches' to add texture and interest . Doodle Pantry is the proud sponsor of this weeks challenge over at the Totally Papercrafts Challenge The theme this week is Hey Cutie (cute images)!
Please take time to visit their blog and join in the fun!

I have used the owl image from the Doodle Pantry digital stamp set 'Silly Critters', I think he is cute, cute! This digital stamp set has four critter images both coloured and non coloured, digital papers and sentiments! I made the first card without any enhancing of the eyes as I thought they were pretty good as they are. Then playing around with my stamping buddy we tried some google eyes on him, didn't really care for that look, so we tried some expoxy stickers on him but she didn't have the right sized ones. When I got home I found some clear ones that worked.  Don't know which look I like better, like them both!
