 Crafty Cardmakers Challenge 2017  # 202  : Christmas

Last challenge of 2017 at Crafty Cardmakers!  June is hosting the event and the theme is Christmas. Anything you enter is fine  a scrap layout, a card, a mixed media piece, some home decor, as long as it is Christmas themed.

 I love this  Penny Black stamp, makes me  nostalgic for by gone years (not that I ever saw penguins singing ) and it is titled Penguins Caroling. I coloured the image with  Prismacolor Markers, decorated the card with: die cuts, punches,and a portionof a doily The white background was dry embossed .

I started to make this for a colour challenge but missed the deadline so I changed my  tactics somewhat, although I did keep the colour scheme.
 Usually I can get my photos to straighten , but had no luck with this one. Oh well!
