Outlawz Progressive Challenge August 2017 - Three Fishes

The image(s) this month are two angel fish  drawn by Jean Chaney (Tangle Street). One is a fish with the zentangle pattern drawn in for you and the other leaves room for you to add your own pattern or not. I choose the pre drawn one.

The images are titled Swish, the Angelfish and Swish Tangled. The underwater plant life is part of the image for 'Swish Tangled .

I printed out 3 images of the fish, 2 large and one small., coloured them with Prismacolor  markers,  and fussy cut  out one large and the one small fish. These two were then made dimensional with pop ups.

A Top 3 pick at: Crafty Creation challenge #348, Ike'sWorld Challenge #95, and Thru the Purple Haze #2

Outlawz July 2017 Challenge - 'Dog' by Anne Fenton.

Outlawz Progressive Challenge July 2017
Outlawz Progressive Challenge -  July 2017   -Dog card
The image for the month of July is  Dog by Anne Fenton.

The design is from Bugaboo's Stella Says Sketch challenge #512 for July.
.
I coloured the dog with Prismacolor Markers and gave him a slightly clouded sky and   muddy ground. He just looked liked he would be be one of those  dogs that cannot resist a mud puddle. My card needed a bit of colour so colored the ball green  and the woof sentiment  was die cut from a piece of green scrap paper. The left hand border is from a Recollections paper pad titled 'Vintage Country'. The die cut scalloped type border is from Spellbinders 'Ironwork Accents' die set.

Birthday for a Little Guy

A birthday card for a little grand nephew  using an adorable 'Bugaboo' stamp called 'Theodore - Birthday Sign'.  I colored the image with a combination of Copics and Prisma Colour markers, added three balloons  punched out from two borrowed 'no  brand name' punches . and  that was basically it. The background was  three layers of cardstock and a punched border.   The first layer was dry embossed with  a heart folder.

My first March birthday card will shortly be in the mail. Yaay!

Outlawz Progressive Challenge - Feb 2017

Outlawz Progressive Challenge. The image this month of February 2017 is a Bugaboo image called "Friend Flower Doodle'.

I used "Stickles' to colour the flowers  & the leaves and  Liquid Pearls on the butterflies. I used a Stampin' Up embossing folder called Square Lattice for the white strip on the panel behind the image square. The edging on the bottom of said square is from a Martha Stewart punch  which I cut in half to give me a smaller edge.  The design at the top of the card are some  left overs of the punched out ovals of the edging punch..

That was that, very easy and I quite like the result. It is going to one of my oldest and dearest friends, for no reason, just because!

Girl with Flowers

Time for the Outlawz Freebie/Progressive Challenge and this month's freebie is'August'  by Andrea Norris from Sheepski Designs. A lovely image indeed! All the papers are Stampin' Up's' including the designer  paper (old  6x6 paper stack). The sentiment was created in 'Word' but is not my own, just a saying I happened to like. I used Copics to colour the image.  The flower was laying around in my stash.
I printed the image out twice, coloured one, cut it out and adhered it to the designer paper. On the second printed image I coloured a section of  the flowers, cut that out  and placed it on top of the adhered image.  Gave it a nice dimensional look.

BDay Strawberry Card

The fabulous strawberry stamp was bought years ago from Flourishes and this is only the  second time I have used it. So pretty.

I made a double bow and added  pearls for accents. The grass was from a Cherry Lynn Die Cut.  I stamped the image twice so I could make  some of the leaves, berries and flowers dimensional. The sentiment is Stampin' Up's.

This one is going to one of my lovely step daughters.
Thanks for visiting.
