The Cat



Doodle Pantry is sponsoring this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge  and a marvellous sketch it is!  I do hope you take a look and decide to participate.  I used an outline  image from an older   Doodle Pantry   stamp set called ' Cute Kitten'. I adore this cat and have made several  cards using it. I just like the attitude the cat  gives off. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. This stamp set contains coloured images, outlines ,digital papers and sentiments. I colored the kitten using Prismacolor markers .  The die cuts are all Spellbinders Nestabilities, and I used the Stampin up Punch Modern labels for the sentiment. The indentations on the vertical black strip were made using a Fiskers punch and cutting ends off to leave an opening!

    Glenda, what a cute kitten. Love how you cut her tail to be outside the circle. Flowers are pretty along with the papers you chose. What a great take on that sketch.

    Love the cat with "an attitude" - must be old as I don't remember this image, but love the greys in the cat and green flowers and goes perfect with the black dots.

    I can see why you like this image...it is a sweetie!

    I really like the pinked edge to the die cut circle behind the cat...a nice change from the scalloped circles I always use...I will have to dust off my fancy scissors!

    I love this kitty Glenda but he should be white like Thor. Then there should be a lab in the image, lol! Poor Rocky, Thor disturbs his world so much. Beautiful flowers, great take on the sketch!
