Thanks Maddie

My husband has often hunted with friends up north and every time he goes  there their daughter gives up her bedroom for 'old man Gerry' as she has called him affectionately for years.  He asked me today to make up a thank-you card  and he would send her a little gift. She is now   in her teens and loves to hunt so I dressed the hunter image in pink when in actuality she wears regular hunting clothes, This weeks Bugaboo freebie was perfect for my card.. It was the least I could do as I love the meat and accept it gladly but I am no hunter!
Card Details:
Stamp: Bugaboo 'Nuts About  Hunting'
Sentiment: Stampin Up's thank you from their 'Because I care ' stamp set, the name hand printed
Colour Medium: Prismacolor Markers - got the idea to use pink on my hunter from a card on the Bugaboo site by Min Kwiatkowsli, see her card here,
Paper: Stampin' Up's 'Always Artichoke' Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette& whisper white' cardstock; DP Dollarama & DCWV 'The Pretty Princess' Stack; the 'hot pink' from a local card/paper store
Die Cut: Spellbinders Nestabilities standard ovals & scalloped ovals, deckled rectangles. inverted scallops and Spellbinders Shapeabilities  'Foliage' for the large leaf -which I used because it reminded me of a tree.
Punches:Martha Stewart for the flower strip, Marianna Designs for the flourish
Other: buttons from stash
