Lil Hummer's Christmas

Doodle Pantry is the sponsor of the weekly challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge   and the sketch is:

I used a January 2012 release image from a Doodle Pantry's  digital stamp set called 'LIL HUMMER",  I  had decided I wanted to make a Christmas card so I added the Santa Hat  (Doodle Pantry Santa Accessories) to the lil hummer by merging one image on top of the other. Isn't it cute:    Flourishes, snowflake flower and the candy piece were added as an additional bit of bling.  Go take a look at the challenge,  create a project  and maybe win a Doodle Pantry coupon!

Believe

The first time I saw this image I knew I had to make a card using it. I love it and it can be found at Becky's Place, she just has the most marvellous  images!!  The card will go into my box of 'next' year Christmas cards. Both the girl and the poinsettia, are Becky's. The die cut is from Marianne Designs and the gorgeous snowflake paper is from Doodle Pantry's  Blessed Christmas digital stamp set. I used a sketch for this card

The theme for the card is from Sassy Studios : Dare to be Sassy Thursday Challenge:  make a winter/holiday card using scraps: all the  paper other than the Digital paper and the white card base is left over pieces  of white cardstock, even the pacific point cardstock is a left over.

Happy Birthday - Mark's 23rd!

Happy Birthday! I made this card for my son's 23rd birthday using Doodle Pantry's 'Computer Ants' digital stamp set.  He was never one to turn down a chance to be on the computer and of course, with that came  the  many trips through the years to the computer shops  to see what was wrong with the darn things. Oh the  angst of lost data, mostly game related of course:0). I remember it well!

I decided these two stamps  would be  ideal for him, although I  should have worked 'got a bug' onto the card as the set  comes with that sentiment and more. The ticket sentiments I did use are from Whimsy Stamps! The small leaves under the button are from a Martha Stewart punch and the larger one is Sizzlits Little Leaves from Stampin' Up.

Don't forget the  new monthly  Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge  #20 will be starting  at noon eastern time on Feb.1st . Chance to win a coupon for use at the Doodle Pantry store and receive a new digi just for participating in the challenge. Double Dutch Fold Card - Love Snakes

I just discovered this card shape technique and this is my  first attempt at a double dutch fold  card. Think of the possibilities with this one AND it is easy to make. If you are already decorating the inside of your normal cards this will be easy peasy:O)   The image is from Doodle Pantry and is  called ' Love Snakes' and although  I don't much care for the creatures in real life,  I do find these two adorable..  actually I don't like creatures with too many legs or those that don't have any at all - lol.
What a wonderful set and it can be found here at the  Doodle Pantry site.

Note: new Doodle Pantry Challenge  and New release starts Feb. 1st 2012 - be sure to head on over and join the fun!

Caterpillar Hugs

Doodle Pantry  Coloured digital stamp set Caterpillar Hugs from the  January 2012 release ( previously released in black outlines only). This is a great image to make a card  to send  to a friend, either just to say hi, or to show your support! We all need hugs every now and then don't we! Would also  make a great  Valentine  image.  The set comes with both a black outline image  which you can colour yourself, or in the pre coloured version which is the one I used.  This set can be found, along with many others at the Doodle Pantry Latest release site , see here:

Outlaws CFC0115 - My Valentine Bobbie

I have used another  great image from Outlaws CFC by Sandi Huggett  for the challenge over at 'Outlawz' called  Creative Freebie Challenge. The images to be used are from digital  images they have drawn. Entering the challenge enables you to receive the next set of images. Every two weeks they will send you two new images. For  this challenge  I chose the cute little  girl digital stamp called 'My Valentine Bobbie 'and coloured it with Prismacolor markers.  For the layout of the card   I used the sketch from Bugaboo's  Catch the Bug challenge Stella Says Sketch#102. I added additional embellishments but the core of the card is the sketch.
Note: the floor I made for the image was inspired by a floor I had seen in card by Mindy Baxter She did a marvellous job and I just had to give it a go.Mine did not turn out near what I wanted it to, but decided to live with it :o)
