It's a Boy

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring  the challenge at ScrapCreations (theme: Baby) .    If you have time go visit  Scrap Creations  and   play along, you could win a Doodle Pantry prize and what could be more delightful that that!!

Card Details.
  • I used Doodle Pantry's  digital stamp 'Happy BirdieB' and doesn't he look all reved up about the new addition:)
  •  Stampin Up paper and some left over wall paper (the blue background  paper).
  • The balloons were stamped, coloured, cut out and  Crystal Effects added for  shine. I do not know from whence they came as there is nothing on the stamp ( I had picked it up at a local dollar store).
  • The sentiment is computer generated.
  • The striped border stamp is from Stampin Up2004.
  • Technique:  Printed out two birdies and using a circle die   placed it around one  birdie, shaded the area in with some bashful blue ink (Stampin Up). I coloured the other birdie, cut it out  and placed it on top of the first to give a dimensional look. ( used dimensional tape) '
  • The final step was to add some twine and a little star
  • The design layout is from 'I{heart }2 stamp'.
  •  Medium used: Prismacolor Marker

Bathing Bumble's

 I love the little bunny I used for my image, he looks so peaceful  relaxing in his tub with the bubbles floating away. I gave him a meadow  with a few clouds, coloured him with Prismacolors, added some Stickles to the bubbles  and he was done.  Framed him with Spellbinders 'wonky squares' , added a couple of homemade flowers and some epoxy stickers from  Recollections to complete the card.

Stamp: Stampabilities 'Relaxing Bubbles'   Bumble; Stampin Up background stamp - sanded

Christmas in July Kitty

It is July  and time for some Christmas card making, I do love making Christmas Cards!!
No you are not seeing double,  this is my second Christmas card using this wonderful cat image from Doodle Pantry. I  love this kitty cat  she is just so cute. I used two different images and merged them together to get the  Christmas picture I was looking for. Starting to really like merging:).

Card details:
Stamps:  Shaggy Cat from Doodle Pantry, Christmas Accessories from Doodle Pantry, background stamp (on the green paper) by All Night Media.
Punches: Martha Stewart  Christmas Branches, Christmas Border , Christmas Corner and snowflake.
Die Cuts: Spellbinders Create a Flake (for the large flower), Wonky Square
Embossing folder -  Swiss Dots

OK, the gremlins are about and causing mischief today. Twice the post  disappeared while I was working on it and I had to re do the whole post. ???  I started out a happy poster full of good cheer
which befits a Christmas card maker and ended up an old shrew , screeching  'what the heck' . Oh well all seems to be going OK now so I am back full of good cheer-lol.

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring  the challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge Blog (theme: Summer reading. Create a card w/detachable bookmark) .   What a delightful challenge this one is, so much fun to make and  everyone can use an additional bookmark can't they!
If you have time go visit  Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge Blog  and perhaps play along, you could win a Doodle Pantry prize. WooHoo!!!!!

Card Details. I used Doodle Pantry's  new release digital stamp set 'Wild Rose', Stampin Up paper and some left over digi paper from DP's 'Peacock Birdie' stamp set (the blue  paper with the white spots). The flowers are handmade using  various flower punches . The sentiment on the detachable bookmark 'the earth laughs in flowers' is from Rubbernecker Stamps.

The bookmark has been perforated on the side attached to the card so it can be  detached from it, just give it a tug, easy peasy!

Scene of Three

I made this card using digital stamps from Make it Crafty and practised a new technique (for me) of merging more than two digital images together to make a scene. Make it Crafty is having a 1 year celebration  and will be celebrating all of July! To have a look at their stamps  go to their site at  Make It Crafty! I quite like this card because it seems somewhat mystical  and the garden appears  filled with magical things.
 I use three images (two characters - the little girls  and one landscape ) to complete this scene.

Card Details;
Stamps: Make it Crafty; Sitting Jane, Forest Flowers, Summer Dream
Technique: merging digital images, heat embossing
Medium: Prismacolor Markers
Die Cuts: Spellbinders Nestabilities: inverted circles,  beaded circles(the one with the button on it); Marianne Designs Creatables 'Frame Swirl', Stampin Up's 'Beautiful Wings'
Punches: Martha Stewart's scary branches, double edged punch;
Flower: handmade using various punches - EK Success  1" and 1/ their  1/2' Retro flower punches and Friskas Daisy punch
