Bugaboo Christmas in July - Day 7 - Photo Challenge
Today is Day 7 of the 2018 Christmas in July Bugaboo Challenge. The theme for Day 7 is a Photo Challenge. See here for all the details.
I choose Bugaboo's current ( July 27,2018) Friday Freebie as my image and coloured it with Prismacolor Markers. I used Copics for the flesh tones. My wonderful background paper is from a paper pack I bought at Michael's ( Cardstock Carton- Marble). The background to the Santa image was hand sponged to give the appearance of sky, ocean and sand. I added some rhinestone for added interest.
Thanks Bugaboo for another wonderful week long Christmas Challenge!!

Bugaboo Christmas in July 2018-Day 6 Colour Challenge
Today is Day 6 of the 2018 Christmas in July Bugaboo Challenge. The theme for Day 6 is a Color Challenge. See here for all the details.
I choose Bugaboo's Winter - Birds Snowman for my image and coloured it with Prismacolor Markers. There are five colours to the challenge and I tried to match the colours I had to the ones on display at the Catch the Bug site. They might not match what you see on your screen, but they look like what my monitor showed. It is an old computer so who knows.
I followed a Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge for my layout. The two diagonal corner decorations are from Spellbinders 'Ironwork Accents' die cut set. The large snowflake die was a gift and I do not know the brand. The sentiment is from a Gina K Design stamp kit titled 'blessed is the season' The embossing folder for the white background layer is Stampin' Up's 'Decorative Dots'.

Bugaboo Christmas In July 2018 Day 5 Make it Funny
Today is day 5 of Bugaboo's annual Christmas in July Challenge . The theme for Day 5 is Photo Inspiration Make it Funny. If you can, go over to Bugaboo's Catch the Bug challenge and join in the fun.
I was inspired by the humour of the photo sentiment and decided to concentrate on making a card with a funny saying. I choose Bugaboo's Snow Friends for my image and coloured it with Prismacolor Markers. I added stickles to the hat and snow and it came out more two toned than I had intended. I thought it would be more silvery.I did not have time to re-do so yes indeed, I have 'yellow' snow, yikes. The sentiment came from an online search and was created on word. I was looking for humorous snow quotes or some such, The dies are: Spellbinders Lattice Rectangles.
Have a great day!

Bugaboo's Christmas in July Day 3 - Make a Gift or Gift Holder
Today is day 3 of Bugaboo's -Catch the Bug annual Christmas in July challenge. The theme for day 3 is "Make a Gift or Gift Holder' . I used a sturdy paper bag from Lenscrafter's , covered their name with golden zig zag fancy paper, and decorated the bag with a left over handmade bow from last Christmas. I coloured a Bugaboo image titled 'Sonbonnet Christmas Stuff' with Prismacolor markers , attached it to a used tag that had a gold sparkled surface, and tied it to the Christmas bow. Thinking maybe it did not appear to reflect the 'Baby it's cold Outside' theme, I attached three snowflakes to the front and several on the backside of the tag. Hope this works.
