Back to School


My DT Card for Lexi's Creations    Challenge #123 - Back to School 
The challenge will run Aug 18th - Aug 30th,2014. .Please join us at Lexi's  I'm so looking forward to seeing your creations  and while there be sure to check out the work by my team mates, they are a very talented bunch!!

Wow, was this ever a hard card to photograph, the 'ballet blue'  true colour tones never came through, don't know how many times I photographed it and even tried  to use software to  gentle it up but guess I just don't know enough about the software to make it work. Finally gave up with a 'C'est La Vie' or in English 'That's Life' :O)! 

This card is for our teenage Granddaughter.

Stamp:  'Tashia' image from Cuttlebug Cuties
Die Cuts: Vivienne Butterfly -Memory Box,  Macarena Corner - Memory Box; Heart Banners - La-La Land Crafts
Punches: Stampin Up's Scalloped Hearts, Stampin' Up's Beautiful Wings; EKSuccess - flowers
Paper:  Bp Bunny'blueberry stripe: Stampin' Up   card stock  Ballet Blue, Whisper White; kraft & brown paper from stash
Colour Medium:   Copics for the image flesh tones, and hair ; INK Stampin Up's 'Ballet Blue;  Prismacolor Markers for dress.
Other: rhinestones

    love the vivid blue love the image and butterfly-your grandaughter will love it -I have a card at moment a lovely soft shade of yellow and I have taken a pic in every room and it still comes out orange?????I am also the same as you no idea how to use the software either
