Make a Joyful Noise

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the   Fab 'n' Funky Challenge and the theme this week  is 'Things with Wings'!  Challenge start date is Sept 19th, 2012. I used a Doodle Pantry  digital stamp set  called 'Caroling Friends' and as one of the characters is a birdie with wings I thought it would work just fine!   This set contains coloured and outline images, digital papers and sentiments.   For this card I used the coloured image and the sentiment is from the same stamp set. The white shimmery background paper is dry embossed and was given to me by my stamping buddy,  I think it is beautiful, thanks Dawn!.

Note: Caroling Friends is from the Digital Pantry Sept 1st new release  and is just one of many, to see them all go here!

Card Details:
Stamp:  Doodle Pantry's 'Caroling Friends'
Sentiment:   Doodle Pantry's 'Caroling Friends'
Paper: Card stock  Stampin' Up 's pacific point , garden green and whisper white, shimmery embossed paper paper from a friend

  4. This card is stunning...it just grabs your eye and doesn't let go until you have noticed every little detail.
Sadly, i never managed to download the freebie image to make the card and get the monkey images free. I just can't figure out how to do it. I have problems learning anything new since the accident...uggggh
I will wait for my daughter to come over and she will show me and do a file download for me and then I will understand. Don't think she can come till next week...sigh...

    Love this card Glenda!

I never managed to figure out the downloading of the freebie image. my daughter will be over next week and I will get her to show me how. I learn better by watching since the accident. It is frustrating to be a slow learner ever since!!!

  21. I like your embossed background Glenda. It is a fun card with that image. I don't have much occasion to make 'cute' cards but I am always seeing images I like.
Thank you for your encouraging comments on my post. I am not really worried about the cataract op. but I know it will not be a miracle cure for me because my eyesight was not good to start with. I learned that when I had the other eye done a couple of years ago. My expectations were too high then and I was disappointed, so I am not expecting quite so much this time. But this is my stronger eye, and anyway it will be great to see colours properly again. Over here they start the procedure by putting a green cloth right over your face and that makes me feel panicky, but I know what to expect this time, and it is soon done. Hopefully I will be back for a few days before I go on holiday. Kate x
