Cowboy Gear

I fell in love with Doodle Pantry's new release of the digital stamp set  "Cowboy Gear" and  couldn't wait to make a card using it. Good thing  DP is sponsoring a challenge this week and I had the perfect sketch to use with the images. Doodle Pantry is sponsoring  the weekly Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge starting   Sept 4th , 2012.  For this card I used the cowboy boots and hat and coloured therm with  Prismacolor markers.  I did not add a sentiment as I'm not sure if this will be a sympathy card or not, but I did create it with that in mind! We'll see.. Adding the lasso was my husbands idea and  it really did add depth to the rather flat background. I had added some dimension by popping up the boots but it still needed something more. Now I know a lasso is constructed with the end going back some how thru the top but havaing no real knowledge of  how to do that I just tried to make somehow resemble the real thing:O)
