OK ,why two Melissa's you ask, or maybe you don't:O) I made the reddish orange flower card first and thought at the time it looked kinda Christmas like but only fleetingly and sent it off to Susan, who bless her heart sent back a thank-you for the lovely Christmas card. Horrified I re checked my card and yes it does look like it has a poinsettia on it. Yikes what to do. I figured Susan had enough on her plate without asking her to replace the card I had sent with an updated one and I would live with it. Then just before the challenge went live I quickly made a white flower and changed the card. So now you get to to see the before and after :O) You see, anybody in Alberta would have frozen to death out Christmas shopping in this outfit, although I could have sent the card to my niece in the Caymens lol! Lordy, lordy sometimes I astound myself! I don't know why but I find this quite humerous....

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous. Stunning design combination of elements and wonderful coloring! Love both flowers. Until you mentioned the red flower mistaken for a poinsettia, it never crossed my mind that the card was meant for Christmas -- I just thought red flower was an impatiens.
