Sea Buckthorn

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the  May 7th,2012 Craft Your Passion Challenge'        and the theme is Torn and Distressed Edges.  Go take a peek   and  if you enter their challenge you might win a Doodle Pantry prize.    This was quite a challenge for me as I am a big fan of distressing but have very seldom made a torn or distressed edged card, I just never seem to know what to do.  I was looking forward to this challenge as it would force me to give it a go. I did the distressing  using a Tim Hotlz tool  and it worked surprisingly well, however any torn  edges were totally unintentional. I wasn't brave enough to actually  tear them with my fingers:O)

Note:
The Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge #23 started  May 1st  (12:00 noon EST)- theme just use a Doodle Pantry image. If you don't have one there are lots of freebies at the Doodle Pantry Shop and you  get a Doodle Pantry image just for participating in the challenge. Such a deal!   May 1st was also new release day over at Doodle Pantry with some amazing new images, be sure to stop in and have look!
