The Barnyard - Beccy's Place

Beccy's Place  The  May14th feature release is a digital image  called  'The Barnyard' . My granddad had a huge red barn and we loved to play in the hayloft when we could. When they took it down  long after my Grandpa had passed, my Grandmother who no longer lived on the farm (it was still in the family) came home for the event with  the statement 'I watched it go up and I will watch it come down'. I knew what she meant as I could understand the feeling so well.   She had raised a family of twelve and the barn had played a big role in the raising. Life has it's moments and the taking down of what was so important years ago is one of them.  The image was coloured with Prismacolor Markers  and the old boots in the corner are from another digital stamp from Beccy's Place!

To see more of Beccy's  fabulous images go here:

Don't forget to join in on Beccy's  May Challenge (see here) The theme is 'create a card using one of  Beccy's flower images and colour it with your Mother's favourite colours, it does not have to be a Mother's Day card.. You have to see Beccy's flowers to believe them, they are amazing and she has some lovely freebies if you  you need one.

  30. What a lovely story and you've done some beautiful coloring on this image. I absolutely love the addition of the old boots. How clever! I love Beccy's Place and have her listed on my Challenge Blog. She is fantastic, isn't she? Hers were the images that turned me from an acrylic stamp used to a digi image addict. LOL. This is a beautiful card with a touching story ... so lovely.
