Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #263 Recycled Element

Judy is hosting today's challenge, Recycled Element

As usual, anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece or home decor, as long as it meets the 'Recycled Element' theme.

This card is for a brother's birthday  I used two washers I found in the garage. I thought they would make a reasonable decoration on the card. I am pretty sure my brother will recognize them (know what they are). I darkened them with brown ink. The ribbon is from my stash and the three tickets are from another project. I also printed off a clock picture I found online, cut it out, reinforced the back, and adhered it to the card. The decorative circle between the two washers is from a Tim Holtz die set.

Paper: Stampin Up  Early Expresso,  light tan paper,
Dies: Sizzix Thinlets 661184
Sentiment: Stampin UP
Ribbon: Recollections 'Trim'

Made the top 3 pick at Dream Valley Challenge #232

  2. Awesome card for your brother....just hope that the washers didn't come from something that you needed them on, lol. You are so creative.
