Kim is hosting today's challenge and the theme is Celebrations
ATG. As usual, anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor as long as it meets the 'Celebrations' theme.
I choose to celebrate a best friend who I have known since grade 9, oh so many years ago. I have made this card while in COVID-19 seclusion and sent it to her as a small attempt to bring some cheer during this Shut Down of 2020, a just because card.
I used a die-cut for the black swirls and the frame of the burlap sentiment which came from an old paper pack. The tag came from my stash, origin unknown. The stamped words on the tag are from Stampin Ups 'Amazing You' and ' Express Yourself' stamp sets.

ReplyDeleteThat is such a wonderful card and I agree that people need an extra pick me up during this rough, unusual time. We are lucky in that we have our crafts to keep us busy and then can help others. Most of us could barter off craft supplies for toilet paper or food, lol.
