and the theme is 'Texture'. As usual, anything you care to enter is fine, a card, scrap layout, mixed media piece, some home decor as long as it meets the texture theme.
Here is a card using a wonderful older image I had bought from Lacy Sunshine (see Heather Valentine's Pirates of the High Seas). I need masculine cards so decided to try out this little buccaneer. My texture was obtained by using an embossing folder, some die cuts (big splash border die, whale die) and a piercing tool.
Card details:
Image: Lacy Sunshine Wilkes the Pirate and Whiskey Parrot
Sentiment: stencilled
Background Embossing Folder -Cuttlebug Divine Swirls
Die Cuts: Memory Box 'Big Splash Border Die'; Stampin Up 'Clearlits Happy Whale' (anchor, whale, star and fish)
Designer Paper: unknown, gave to me from a friend
Punch: one hole punch for the eye
Colour Medium: Prismacolor Markers, COPICS for the flesh tones
Other: piercing tool
