DT Card for Lexi's Creations Challenge #92 Father's Day or Special Male Birthday

My DT Card for Lexi's Creations    Challenge #92 Fathers' Day or Special Male Birthday. The challenge will run June 10th - June 22nd, 2013.

I no longer have a father or father in law, but I do have a fabulous brother and this card is for him. He is retired and to keep busy mows the greens at a local golf  course and keeps the lawns mowed for his neighbours when they are away in the summer. He lives along the shore of the lake we were raised at and I love to think of him busily mowing away the summer hours , outdoors and near the lake he loves. When I saw this stamp by 'Art Impression' I knew it was the perfect stamp for his birthday. I added the Fairy Dust Crafts butterfly  for an embellishment  It is a male card so did not want to make it too fussy. The sentiment cracks me up! I added the birthday Number digitally as the sentiment was rubber stamped.

Please join us, I'm so looking forward to seeing your creations
and while there be sure to check out the work by my team mates  at Lexi's Creations, they are a very talented group!!

  11. I love so many of the AI stamps and this is one of the many. Yes, I love the sentiment too. I too have lost my father and no longer have a father-in-law, but I have a brother who seems to really enjoy washing cars and mowing grass on Saturday....even as a little boy. I continue to enjoy the cloud folder by SU. Love the card!

  24. Fabulous masculine card Glenda. My Dad would have so loved this one. He had a farm and cut all his neighbours hay. He took up tractor mowing the lawns when he was banished from the big equipment sue to his advancing years. Right up to about 85yrs old he snow ploughed all his neighbours driveways.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane with this fabulous card.
