Cattails



Doodle Pantry is sponsoring Stamps R Us this week (Oct 30th,2011) and the theme is Masculine!  Masculine can be hard sometimes but I figure cattails are a masculine thing as are dragonflies. Butterflies for women, dragonflies for men, anyhow that is what I determined for this card! I quite like this one, it is simple and  I hope gives a sense of calming. Be sure to take the time to visit their blog and hopefully join in the fun!

Stamp: Doodle Pantry digital stamp set  'Cattail Pond'  I actually merged two images together to get the above image. The sentiment is from the same set.
Background paper: the brown textured paper is digital paper  from Stamp TV ;the orange rust paper is Stampin' Up card stock stamped with a  SU rubber background stamp called ' weathered'

    Cards for Men always seem to be a real challenge for me, I am more of a flowery card type
    And thanks for the tip, I never think of merging the digi images
