2016 Brother's Birthday Card

Crafty Cardmakers challenge this fortnight is 'Autumn'. This can include anything associated with the season: colours, fall scenes, pumpkins, leaves, etc. You can also create anything you like such as, cards, tags, projects as long as it meets the challenge theme and rules. Have fun and create!

I made a card for my brother using a stamp 'Birthday Turtle' from  'QKR'. I went with fall colours and some 'falling' leaves. The  button and twine are for added interest.The green background paper is dry embossed and all the papers are Stampin  UP.  The leaves were die cut/punches borrowed from a friend. The image was coloured with Prismacolor Markers.

Engagement Card

Crafty Cardmakers challenge this fortnight is "Layers", lots of layers. Hope you all join us for this fun challenge. You can create whatever you like as long as it meets the challenge theme (cards, tags,boxes,etc) and you enter no more than 15 other challenges.

Aaaah layers, sometimes hard to pull off and other times it all comes together relatively easy. Such was the case with this card, it just came together. Six layers counting the ribbon.. The image is from Mo Manning and is coloured with PrismaMarkers.

This card was created for the  Engagement for a young couple very dear to my heart.

Sunflower and Mouse - Outlawz

A cute little mouse by Diane Carubia of Di's Digis and time for another Progressive Challenge  over at the Outlawz. The image is titled 'Sunflower Mouse'  and if you join the challenge he is your's for free and a new image will be emailed to you for the next month's challenge. Mine is a 4" x 5 1/2" card for a friends daughter who is turning eleven this month. The image was coloured with a mixture of Prisma Markers and Copics. The sentiment was created in Word.
